Faculty/Staff Spotlight
Mr. Rodolfo V. Olavarri, Mr. O, has been in education since 1995. His first teaching position was in a 7-8 Grade classroom in Chicago Heights, Il.; his last teaching position was in the same 7-8 grade bilingual classroom in the Chicago schools. He received his B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago-UIC, a M.A.T Masters of Education in Teaching from Columbia College and a second Masters with the Administrative Certification from Chicago State University. He has two children, one boy and one girl. Mr. O. is one of two administrators that attended Summit School District 104 as a student. He has been in SD 104 since 2005. He feels very privileged and happy to have been able to serve the same community in which he grew up in. He is honored to part of our students and families lives.
